I realized it's kind of hard to see, I don't think it will make a difference in judging (I'm just OCD XD) With the wrap-around over-shirt-happi-coat thingy, only one side goes past her waist (the right side, with the pack attached to the side) The other side (with the chains) is short. So it's kind of assymetrical I guess. You can't really tell from the picture.

Ryukushin, obviously from Ryuku, Kenshikozai: "kenshiko" is japanese for a sabre-toothed tiger, her summon thing.

Um, I wrote all of this based on some ideas floating about in my head, but mostly just wrote it randomly for the contest. so, YES, it's SUPPOSED to sound stupid. Oh, and it's very rough.... and filled with white space

Thank goodness it's not based on your art skills.... I wouldn't win to begin with (not that I'm going to anyways... I've seen so many awesome submissions already... I figured, maybe, MAYBE I might make it into the background of one of the Eledia comics... maybe... XD).

I drew this thing in like... 10 minutes, then CG'd it faster than I ever have in my life XD. That thing IS female, by the way... (tomorro's Halloween, no way I'll have time for this)

I'll point out all the problems with it for you later, Riku. I don't want to draw attention to any issues with it until after it's been judged.

Chakra Nature: fire and earth (metal)
Clothing: Silver, black, and dark indigo-blues
Kekkei Genkai: metal manipulation
Techniques: her clan can manipulate metal, making it solid or liquid as they see fit. Their blood is also made from liquid metal. Being blind, as a young ninja she had a handicap, but attaches genjutsu to her blood and uses it to mark her enemies and track their movements. For less-precise reconniscance, all of the metal she controls (all crystallizations of her blood) is marked with genjutsu. She can expand or contract the metal she manipulates, and form it into spikes, chains, cages, or trap people by turning it into pools. She can use chakra to superheat the metal, burning enemies on contact or by the white flames that surround the metal. She can use heat waves from the metal to distort light waves in the area thereby distorting her opponents' vision.
Overall, she uses taijutsu supplemented with her ninjutsu. She uses little genjutsu, other than for tracking and basic ninja skills. She will either be unarmed, often supplemented with metal needles/spikes floating around her hands like claws, or use her dual swords, which usually take the form of spikes attached to the armor on her forearms. Her swords can be transformed into liquid metal, other weapons, or a dual-bladed sword-staff. The kunai and chains she wears are like this as well, and can be manipulated in similar ways. She can use the seal on her left arm to summon up greater chakra reserves and a saber-toothed tiger formed from molten metal, which can with her body to create a larger, more powerful creature.
Because of her blindness, her other senses, especially her hearing, are incredibly sharp. As a ninja relying mainly on Taijutsu, she is strong, though she specializes in speed. She's also highly intelligent.
Personality: She tends to be generally cheerful, despite her often apathetic air. She's slightly self-conscious about her blindness, aware that people treat her differently because of it, though she accepts it and lives on. When she was younger she lost her eyes to an out-of-control summon, and was subsequently scared of summons for a long time. Her mother, a medical-nin, continues to research ways for her to possibly regain her sight. She likes strange foods, her favorite being yakitori covered in a mixture of honey and wasabi, and she tends to procrastinate. Her humor is dry and sarcastic, and she can be incredibly scathing to people she doesn't like. She owns five pet cats, and tends to pick up strays randomly. When she gets bored she'll mess around with her powers just for fun (I never understood why ninjas don't do this... I would do it....)
